Sandboarding Morocco is an independent guide for everyone who wants to slide down a Moroccan dune on a board. How we research
Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: mostly the climate normals of the World Meteorological Organization, UNESCO, Encyclopaedia Britannica, NASA, the US National Park Service, the Namibia Tourism Board and PromPeru. The month-by-month climate figures are the World Meteorological Organization's 1991 to 2020 normals for the Agadir Inezgane station, 15 km from the beach at Sidi Toual, as archived by the US National Centers for Environmental Information; the day length and the straight-line distances between places are our own calculations. Information on tours, that is duration, stops, languages, inclusions, and starting prices, is taken from the offers on GetYourGuide.
No tourism body publishes much about the dune spots on the Moroccan coast, so for places like the Timlalin dunes we tell you plainly what a listing states, what we calculated, and what nobody has published.
